Correct child restraint must be used

Correct child restraint must be used. If one is not available in a taxi the child may travel unrestrained

-On a short and occasional trip and the correct child restraint is not available

-Two occupied child

restraints prevent the fitment of a third.

Child aged 3 to 11 and under 1.35 metres (approx 4ft 5ins) in height

NOTE: IT IS ILLEGAL TO USE A REAR-WARD FACING CHILD SEAT

 IN THE FRONT PASSENGER  SEAT IN A VEHICLE WHICH IS PROTECTED BY

ACTIVE FRONT AIR BAGS
